Iain is a seasoned (veteran) of IT and Technology Recruitment with a career that started in 1997 in Altrincham, with spells spent in Leeds, London before returning to Manchester with ISR.

After gaining invaluable experience working with leading technology recruitment firms such as Allegis and TMP Monster, Iain recognised the need for a strategic approach to talent acquisition in the IT and Digital sectors. This realisation became the catalyst for his entrepreneurial venture – a recruitment business dedicated to sourcing top-tier talent and fostering collaborations that drive digital and technology transformation.

ISR was established in 2005 to deliver a recruitment service designed to bridge the gap between exceptional technical talent and forward-thinking organisations. From the very beginning, this vision was always focused on the service to both candidates and clients, providing a service underpinned with integrity and transparency.

At the core of ISR is a set of values that reflect Iain’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and transparency; for Iain, it is all about adding value to the recruitment process. Iain loves nothing more than to be able to consult with both candidates and clients.

Building strong partnerships through referrals and exceptional service means that clients continue to work with Iain because of the consistent delivery of talent solution requirements. It’s the small details that count for Iain and being consultative throughout is key to building long-term trust and credibility; adding value to a client’s business to enhance their operations, vision and values.
